This workshop will de-mystify the myriad of tools and methods and help you understand how to measure your social value simply and articulate this to clients, in funding applications and tendering rounds.

Workshop content

By the end of this session delegates will:

  • Have a good knowledge of common measurement tools
  • Understand how to set clear measurement criteria
  • Understand how to measure and quantify hard and soft outcomes
  • Understand how to use the results (marketing social value)


Workshop facilitators

The session will be delivered by Dave Lane and Ranjit Bansal.

Dave Lane is MD of Development in Social Enterprise CIC (a social enterprise support organisation that provides bespoke consultancy and developmental support to the third sector) and has a career that spans over 25 years in senior management in the voluntary and community sector. He is an experienced trainer, speaker and is a SFEDI qualified social enterprise business adviser with a degree in Voluntary and Community Organisation Development.

Ranjit Bansal is a marketing professional with 18 years' experience of working with social enterprises, voluntary organisations, CICs, and charities.

Venue information

Please note parking in and around Solihull Enterprise Centre is limited to 1 hour within the identified bays. Delegates are advised to park in unrestricted areas on Dunster Road (a short walk from the centre).
