Is it possible to practice Buddhism in the form of singing? The answer is: Absolutely yes!

A five hour program with Karunika Kristina Bischoff in Rochester

Is it possible to practice Buddhism in the form of singing? The answer is: Absolutely yes!

Singing spontaneous songs of realization is a tradition that dates back to Indian Mahasiddhas such as Saraha. And according to Tibetan Dharma master Karma Chagme, we should sing these songs even if we sound like a howling dog. This connects us with the wisdom, insight, and ultimately the blessings of the yogis and yoginis who emanated them. And in the best case, this should lead to our enlightenment. So, what’s stopping you?!

During this program, our brief encounter, we will devote ourselves to singing, but also to physical exercises and short meditation sessions. This will allow the body, speech, and mind to fully experience the taste of the songs of realization. Tune in—find out 😊

About Kristina:

Karunika Kristina Bischoff has been a student of Tibetan Buddhism since 1997. Through her teachers Ringu Tulku, Dzogchen Ponlop, and Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche, she came into contact with the practice of doha singing at an early age. Today, she lives and works as a singing teacher and choir director in Hamburg and Berlin and has specialized in singing with shy people and / or those who claim, cannot sing 😊
