About this event

Join Liv for this 45 minute Singing for Joy and Wellbeing workshop. No previous singing experience or ability to read music is necessary as all songs are taught by ear. Expect uplifting, fun, and dynamic songs to bring joy and connection with other participants, all delivered in a relaxed and informal manner.

Liv is an experienced local community musician, creative practitioner, trainer and a Co-Director of Sounds Better CIC.

She works musically with many different groups of people, from children in the early years and their families, to people with long term health conditions, in particular people living with dementia, people living with Parkinson’s and people with respiratory conditions. She has developed and delivered creative projects with organisations such as Historic Royal Palaces, London Museum, Leighton House Museum, Salisbury Museum and Age Exchange. Liv is also a trainer in Circle Dance for People Living with Dementia and teaches on an accredited Award in Dementia Awareness for Dementia Pathfinders CIC.

She is passionate about the potential of the arts, especially participatory music and movement, to have a positive impact on physical, cognitive and mental health and wellbeing. She is delighted to be able to support this event for men's mental wellbeing.
