Event description

Description

Our brains are not fixed and hard-wired, but malleable and they change in response to experience.

Rachel Kelly, international best-selling author, writer, speaker and mental health campaigner suffered two major depressive episodes in her early 30's. These became defining events of her life and having journeyed through them, Rachel is now sharing her toolkit of practical exercises and activities for cultivating mental wellbeing, collected over years of successfully managing her own depression.

The Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Matt Hancock has praised her work saying how much she has personally contributed over the years to the change of attitude across the whole nation that we are seeing right now, when it comes to mental health in the UK and that it fills him with joy that this content is now available as we’re all effected by mental health in one way or another.

You will learn simple actions that have helped her and thousands of others hold onto that little bit of sunshine, even on the rainiest days to:

• increase self-awareness

• build confidence

• enhance self-esteem

• encourage personal development

From joining this working and following Rachel's practical steps and exercises you will find that you start to alleviate daily stress and in doing so create new healthier habits that will subtly shift your perspective and enhance an overall truer sense of wellbeing.

Ticket price includes a signed copy of her new book too.
