1. Workshop Objective

To help care providers, managers, and team leaders identify, collect, and present robust evidence for each SAF quality statement across the CQC’s five key questions: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, Well-Led.

2. Session Structure

A. Introduction (15 mins)

• Overview of the Single Assessment Framework.
• How evidence supports ratings and compliance.
• Difference between documentary evidence, observational evidence, and feedback evidence.

B. Quality Statements & Evidence Brainstorm (60 mins)

For each domain, use a group activity where participants:

1. Read a specific quality statement.
2. Brainstorm examples of evidence they currently have.
3. Identify gaps and possible new evidence sources.
