Dartmoor Walk for Single Outdoors-Lovers - Pew Tor & Windy Post Cross

Pi Society & Dartmoor’s Daughter have again joined forces to invite you for a stunning walking experience on Dartmoor. Walking together with other single outdoors-lovers, we will walk from Pork Hill car park past the wheelwright’s stone and old blacksmith’s shop over to Windypost Cross which was a way-marker on the old Jobbers’ Road. Nearby there is a bull’s eye stone which was a typical method of controlling leat water supplies. From here we’ll walk on to Feather Tor and the grand ‘court’ of Pew Tor - the reputed home of the King of the Piskies where you’ll hear what not to do if you want to keep the little people happy! With stunning views all around, we will walk past the famous Vixen Tor with its legendary witch and head back to our cars for a quick journey into Princetown for a pub lunch.

This is a great way to meet other single people who love walking on Dartmoor and your guide Emma is an exceptional professional guide.
