Join us for a calming creative evening, led by a local Japanese paper artist. You will learn the traditional origami folding as you create your own decorative paper wreath. This is a mindful, hands-on experience designed to help you relax, unwind, and leave with something beautiful.

The workshop takes place at Rising Tide Cafe, a lovely café , just a short stroll from Portobello Beach. Your ticket includes a glass of house wine, which can be swapped for a beer, soft drink, or hot drink. More refreshments are available from their licensed drinks menu.

Please note: Rising Tide Cafe will be open exclusively for our workshop on this date.

How do ticket options and Early Bird discounts work?

General admission: £35 per person. Early bird: purchase by 17 August to get £5 off, making the ticket £30 per person (fees covered—no extra charges at checkout).

What does my ticket include?

All origami papers, expert guidance—and one drink (125 ml house wine, or swap for beer, soft drink, or hot drink).

Who can attend?

Anyone aged 16 and over with an accompanied adult.

What should I bring?

Materials are all provided, but feel free to bring extra patterned paper if you like.

Is the venue accessible ?

Yes—Rising Tide is wheelchair accessible. Please let us know if you need any assistance.

Where can I park or catch public transport?

Free on-site parking; street parking is free. Bus 26 & 19 a short walk away.

Is Rising Tide open for its regular café menu?

No—on workshop nights Rising Tide closes to the public and is reserved solely for our event.
