What is Lovely Brushly?

Lovely Brushly is an acrylic painting workshop business based in Bristol and South-West England. Our in-person painting workshops are casual, relaxing and fun. Everyone creates the same Lovely Brushly painting theme through the step-by-step guidance of a friendly workshop leader.

Do I need any previous art experience?

Accepted Answer

No art experience is required! Just bring yourself and your enthusiasm to create. Our workshops are not professional fine art classes, but relaxing, casual events designed to guide you through a painting theme, creating a gorgeous work of art to take home with you.

Do I need to bring any art materials with me?

Accepted Answer

No! We provide all art materials needed for our workshops. This includes canvas, acrylic paints, apron, easel, brushes etc.

Question 4

What clothes should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Aprons are provided and included in the ticket price. However, it might be best to wear older clothes you don’t mind getting paint on, just in case!

What paints do you use?

Accepted Answer

Acrylic paints are used in all our workshops. If you require more information about the paints we use, you can review the safety data sheets of Daler Rowney's Graduate Acrylic Paints on their website: https://www.daler-rowney.com/graduate-acrylic-paint. What time should I arrive?

Accepted Answer

We advise arriving 10 minutes before the event starts. This gives you time to find a seat and settle in to relax and paint.

I'm attending with friends, will we be seated together?

Accepted Answer

If you have purchased tickets separately for a group, please let us know and we’ll try and get you seated next to each other. Likewise, if you’d like to be seated next to another group, get in touch via email at info@lovelybrushly.co.uk and we’ll do our best to ensure you’re all seated together.

Do you take photos throughout the event?

Yes, we capture photos for promotional, advertising and marketing purposes, e.g. for use on our website, on social media and other promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear in any photos, please inform us either on the day of the event or in advance, and we will make sure t

Do you offer refunds if I can no longer attend the event?

Accepted Answer

Ticket sales are non-refundable. If you notify us at least 72 hours before the event, we will do our best to accommodate a ticket transfer to a different workshop date. Email info@lovelybrushly.co.uk for transfer requests. See our T&C on our website for more information.

What sized canvas do you use in your workshop?

We use 12 x 12 inches canvas boards in our painting workshops.

Are food and drink included in the ticket price?

Accepted Answer

No. Food and drink are likely to be provided by the venue but please check availability with the venue prior to arrival.
