Event description

Description

The Pinsker Centre in conjunction with Conservative Friends of Israel, invites the members and friends of UCL Friends of Israel, UCL Diplomacy in Action & KCL Israel Society (our co-hosts) to join us in an evening of discussion with Rt. Hon, Sir Eric Pickles MP.

Sir Eric, one of Britain's most recognised and vocal politicians, is one of the leading advocates for Jewish issues in the UK. He is currently the UK envoy on Post-Holocaust issues, staunchly promoting Holocaust education and restitution initiatives. Between 2010-2015, Pickles served as the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government - having previously held the Chairmanship of the Conservative Party. He is currently the Parliamentary Chairman of Conservative Friends of Israel.

Sir Eric will be speaking on the importance and future of UK-Israel relations; and will be taking questions from the floor on all matter of topics.

REGISTRATION IS VITAL FOR ENTRY.

The event will take place in Committee Room 9.
