Sir Ian Cheshire: the exit interview
After seven years at the helm of Kingfisher, Sir Ian Cheshire is moving on. One of the first Chief Executives to explicitly link sustainability performance with business opportunity, Sir Ian’s leadership and passion for innovation culminated in the adoption of the pioneering restorative business approach (known as Net Positive) in 2012.
In an exclusive interview with Sally Uren, CEO of Forum for the Future, Sir Ian will talk about Kingfisher’s journey towards transforming the way it does business. Creating significant change in a business and its industry requires experimentation and collaboration: what motivates such an ambitious agenda? What does this mean for the organisations it works with, and the customers and communities it serves?
As much a personal journey as an organisational one, our network members will also be given the rare opportunity to ask those tricky questions and gain practical insights from an inspirational business leader.
Do you want to know how to take your business on a system innovation journey (and how to bring your CEO along with you)? - join our event and tweet your questions to Sir Ian - we'll be live in a few weeks.
And to whet your appetite, check out Sir Ian Cheshire’s recent comment piece in The Independent on the need for sustainable growth plans in 2015.
This event is for members of the Forum Network or by personal invitation only.
