Calling all Sisters


We will be joining together in sisterhood, in solidarity in love and peace. In UNITY


Sharing poetry, making new friendships, and holding sacred those we already know.


It's been a while since we have come together. This is a safe space for us to express our poetry, our hearts, our souls

Our truth,our stories.


Join us, new writers, and emerging poets. The curious,the nervous, the excited. The performer. The artist the listener.

Spoke is a non-profit organisation looking to raise the profile of spoken word and

provide opportunities for people of all ages and walks of life to experience the world of

spoken word poetry. As speakers, educators and facilitators we deliver spoken word via

workshops in finding your voice and releasing your inner poet. These take place in various

settings across education, rehabilitation and corporate sectors. We also host a regular open

mic night for people to showcase their work in a safe space and are working with local radio with a view to launching our own programme.
