About this event

Note:

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, the mosques are closed for ladies to pray there.

However, the government has issued an announcement that during Ramadan 2021, we are permitted to allow ladies to attend for Tarawih prayers as long as we maintain the current social distancing procedures of 1m between each person. Therefore, if we find that sisters who come to pray are unable to follow these rules tightly, we will have no choice but to close the lady's section of the mosque in Ramadan.

As a result, unfortunately, we will be operating a list of registered attendees each night. Sisters who have not registered to attend that night will not be allowed to enter as the form has a registered capacity per the number of places available to pray at a safe distance. If any sisters attend without registration you will risk being told to return home.

You will receive a card indicating the link to this event to register your attendance, but please don't book for every night as we want to accommodate as many sisters as possible throughout each week.

Through this booking system, we will be:

  • Able to accommodate for 21 sisters to pray the full 8 rakat in the back sisters room only
  • Able to accommodate for 15 sisters for the 1st 4 rakat and a further 15 sisters for the second rakat in the front room only

If you intend on joining us for the 1st 4 rakat only:

  • You MUST stick to this intention as the sisters who have booked on for the second set of 4 Rakat will be waiting

Other Restrictions:

  • No children under the age of 16 to enable more space for more sisters
  • PLEASE bring your own Face Mask and Prayer Mat
  • PLEASE make wudu before you leave home as the wudu facilities are not available except for Emergencies only

We apologise in advance for the inconvenience this may cause but there is a Waitlist available for those who register for tarawih after tickets are sold out on the day throughout the month of Ramadan, to give opportunity for more sisters to attend on other days.

Please book in advance to ensure we can accommodate everyone fairly each day. If you need to cancel your booking, please do so in plenty of time so that your place can be offered to another person on the waiting list.
