The team at Hen Corner invite you to join us for breakfast as we start the conversation on ethical food.
There are many choices and implications around most of the food items that we buy to eat every day.
A significant choice that we can make is whether to explore or ignore the very issues that affect our health, our environment, animal welfare and the livelihood of some of the world's poorest people.
As part of this year's Fairtrade Fortnight, we invite you to 'Sit Down to Breakfast - Stand up for Farmers'.
As we enjoy a home-made, ethical breakfast, we will be starting the conversation that explores Fair Trade, Local & Ethical Products
This is a free event, however, we would appreciate donations to cover costs.
When & Where
Sara Ward, Hen Corner
‘Since moving into her West London home a few years ago, Sara Ward and her husband Andy have industriously set up Hen Corner, where they now have a stunning kitchen garden – with raised beds full of seasonal crops – fruit and nut trees, a flock of clucking hens and a beehive with busy bees hard at work making honey.’ Michele Jameson, Country Living Magazine
We are Hen Corner.
We love the bee keepers, the veggie bed diggers, the jam makers and cider drinkers, the chicken fanciers and the real bread bakers.
But not just in the deepest darkest countryside or the far, far away villages but right here in our cities and towns.
So, come on a course and join us on the journey…
