Sitka Spruce Removal Day

Where: Hepple Estate, Morpeth, Northumberland, NE65 7LN

When: Saturday 27th September, 10am to 4pm

Who: Open to young people aged 18–30

What: Heaving and digging out Sitka spruce saplings in target areas across the site

What to bring

• Clothes you don’t mind getting muddy
• Sturdy shoes or boots
• Waterproofs, warm clothes and sun cream
• Packed lunch and water bottle

What we provide

• Tools and gloves
• A site tour and workshop
• Guidance and support throughout the day
• Hot drinks and snacks

No experience is needed!
