This six-week course is suitable for intermediate jewellery makers looking to improve their skills and learn new ones. Tailored to meet your skill level within your jewellery making journey, you will be encouraged to work on your own personal projects with the support and guidance of our expert tutors.
Members of the Jewellery Club are are free to create whatever they want whilst learning new skills. You will build and expand on your jewellery and traditional silversmithing skills, while focusing on using tools and equipment in a professional and creative context with space for student-led introductions to more advanced skills.
The first three weeks focus on two to three techniques and processes whilst the last three weeks students are free to work on their own projects using these new skills. The new techniques and processes to be taught in this class will be confirmed soon!
Here at the School we are experienced enough to understand that learning to make jewellery is a skill which needs building with careful tuition and one to one attention throughout the classes, where each student gets to learn and practice specific techniques in each of our block of courses rather than cramming everything in to a few days which does not allow for knowledge retention.
We believe strongly in providing a fun, safe and professional learning experience, allowing you to grow at your own pace and celebrating your achievements!
Materials for the first three weeks of learning and experimenting are provided. Materials for the final three weeks in which you will make a final piece can be ordered from the school, or you can bring your own!
