Skate Cabal’s Skate Jam Academy: At Skate Cabal, we’re all about empowering our community through roller skating, fostering inclusivity, well-being, and social change, one skate at a time. Whether you're a total beginner or looking to level up, our Skate Jam Academy is the perfect space to learn, grow, and jam with friends.
This session is designed for skaters of all levels who want to practice, improve, and have fun in a supportive and energetic atmosphere. Our professional coaches will guide you through the moves, offering personalised tips and encouragement to help you improve your skills. With a relaxed vibe and the excitement of skating, you’ll get into the flow and make the most of your time at the workshop!(Bring Your Own Skates)
Beginner/Intermediate Skate Session:🕔 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Whether you’re new to skating or have some experience, this session is perfect for all skill levels. It’s a great opportunity to practice, improve, and have fun in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Our experienced Skate Cabal coaches will guide you step by step, offering helpful tips and encouragement to help you progress. Get ready for a fun, high-energy vibe as you glide into the rhythm of skating! (Bring Your Own Skates)
Event Essentials:
- Bring Your Own Skates: Skate hire is unavailable, so make sure to bring your own wheels.
- Protective Gear: We encourage everyone to stay safe—especially our younger skaters!
- Hydration: Keep hydrated and bring a water bottle.
- Wrap-Up Time: The event will officially end at 7:00 PM.
- Community Spirit: Skate Cabal is about community, so let’s lift each other up, be kind, and keep the good vibes rolling.
- Intergenerational Event: This is a space for all ages to skate, connect, and share the joy of movement—whether you're a seasoned skater or just starting out.
- Kids Under 16: Are welcome to join, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who will spectate. Parents/guardians do not need to have skates, as they can watch from the seating area.
- No Entry Without Skates: Please ensure you bring your own skates.
- Safety First: Strictly no alcohol, drugs, or weapons allowed.
- Refunds: Requests must be made at least 72 hours in advance. No refunds for cancellations within 72 hours.
- Media Consent: By attending, you agree to be part of our event photos/videos for promotional purposes. Let us know if you’d prefer not to be filmed.
- Car Parking: Free onsite parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The car park entrance is at New Mount St, E15 3PA. If the onsite parking is full, additional parking is available on nearby streets or at the Stratford Centre multi-storey car park.
- Public Transport: School 21 is easily accessible by public transport. Stratford Station (Central Line, Railway, DLR, Overground) is just a 5-minute walk away, and Stratford High Street Station (DLR) is only 1 minute from the venue.
