ART EXHIBITION (65/1173): 10:30 - 17:00

Death and dying has always had strong representation in art and culture, owing to the primal desideratum for humans to understand, acknowledge and endeavour to solve its infinite mysteries. Be it delineation or treatment of the physical form of the dead body, interpretations of emotion and grief or the significance of death in spirituality.

The SSSB art coordinators are looking to display conceptual, aesthetic, functional and humorous creative pieces inspired by and representing death, dying, grief, anatomy and archaeology to share in an exhibition to complement the academia of the conference.

More information on the art exhibition and contributing artists can be found here: https://www.sssbconference.co.uk/art2018
