About this event

Join local environmental artist Jane Stewart on a foraging walk and sketch along the Colne Estuary at Brightlingsea. Together we will explore areas that you might not already know, finding and identifying edible sea vegetables to garnish our lunch with. Bring a packed lunch and your sketchbooks, we will be stopping at specific beauty spots for a spot of sketching, both flora and fauna, as well as wrecks and boat yards.

A camera or camera phone is also a good idea to bring to record your journey, and don't forget your sketchbook.

Please remember to bring plenty of water, a snack and wear clothing suitable for the weather on the day and sensible footwear for walking.

The Details:Essex Path to Prosperity in partnership with Jane Stewart introduces a series of 'Essex Coast Walks & Workshops' to promote the wonderful Essex coastline and its history.
