More and more studies show that spending time in nature is good for your mental health, while artistic activities are proven to be relaxing. Spend a day mixing these two activities in the ancient woodland of Nower Wood.
In the morning you will create a few beautifully adorned hard backed sketchbooks full of paper ready to be used. In the afternoon, you will wander the woodland seeking inspiration to draw in your notebook. This technique known as Nature Journaling is a wonderful way to capture a moment of beauty.
Your tutor will guide you to areas of interest in the woods and by using only the pencils you can easily carry, she will help you to document and sketch the things that inspire you.
This course is designed for both beginners and improvers.
