✏️ What is this workshop?
This is a relaxed, low-pressure sketchbook session designed for anyone who struggles to finish a sketchbook, doesn’t know where to start, or wants to reconnect with creative play. It’s a space to get past the blank page and make drawing feel enjoyable again , no pressure, no perfectionism, just making marks and seeing what happens.
Whether you’ve abandoned half-filled sketchbooks in drawers or haven’t picked up a pencil in years, this session is about showing up, experimenting, and finding joy in the process of creating.
🎨 What to Expect
The session will include a series of short, playful prompts and timed drawing exercises to help you fill your pages with confidence and curiosity. Each activity is designed to be quick, low-stakes, and creatively freeing , the goal is quantity over perfection, fun over outcome. Expect things like blind contour drawings, map-making, surreal doodles, and imaginative prompts that get you thinking differently.
You’ll also have space for open sketching time, and the option to share pages with others or simply reflect on your own progress.
🤝 Who is it for?
This session is open to absolutely anyone , artists, non-artists, total beginners, and people who say “I can’t draw.” If you've ever felt blocked, creatively stuck, or just disconnected from the joy of making, this is for you. It’s also a lovely space for more experienced creatives who want to loosen up and reconnect with sketchbooks in a fresh way.
🧾 What to Bring
All basic materials will be provided , including paper, pens, and pencils bits , but feel free to bring your own sketchbook if you have one you'd like to use. You’re also welcome to bring any favourite tools or materials that help you feel more at home in your creative process.
🌿 What You’ll Leave With
By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a handful of filled pages, new ways of approaching blank spaces, and the confidence to keep going. You may even feel excited to keep up a regular sketchbook habit , or simply enjoy it as a one-off boost to your creativity.
More than anything, you’ll leave knowing that your sketchbook doesn’t have to be perfect , it just has to be yours.
