A walk with a local artist from Art Branches looking at the local landscape and plants. In this workshop you will learn how to get the most out making field sketches and notes. Ages 12+

Using pencil, marker pen and charcoal we will record the beautiful West Stow Country Park, with woodland, riverside and ancient heritage. Suitable for all levels, this is a fun and relaxing workshop good for our wellbeing.

Please bring stout footwear, a small seat or mat and a water bottle. All art materials and sketchbooks will be provided.

Booking: Free, booking required.

Parking: Parking charges apply: £2 for up to 2 hours or £3 for over 2 hours. £2 per day for Blue Badge holders. Annual permits available.

The Brecks Fen Edge & Rivers Landscape Partnership Scheme is a new initiative delivering 24+ Archaeology, History and Nature focused projects that engage communities, schools and interest groups in understanding, conserving and celebrating the unique heritage of the Brecks' fen edge and river corridors.

The Scheme outputs will concentrate on the history and biodiversity of the river corridors and key fen edge and freshwater habitats within The Brecks, with the aim of delivering real understanding of water-based heritage and conservation issues, and positive conservation changes on the ground. This area encompasses a unique area in East Anglia with an incredible and much-overlooked landscape.
