Do I need to have a good level of drawing ability?

Having an interest in Drawing and Art is important, and something we will look to increase. But no level of drawing skill is required. Just an eagerness to look and engage with Art.

Can I bring my own materials?

Of course, feel free to bring your own paper or materials. However the British museum are quite strict in what they allow. They do not allow artists to use wet material like inks or paint. they do allow dry materials like pencils, conte pencils and hard pastels.

Can I draw what I want to draw?

I will talk to the group a little about the theory and approach of drawing, and suggest sculptures to draw but I would encourage people to draw the works that excite them.
