Do numbers give you a headache? This session will give you the basic accountancy basics which are useful for any one- regardless of what career you are going into. It will explain what is a cash flow forecast and balance sheet and go through some of the weird and wonderful accountancy terminology.

Skill Build is a series of workshops which can help you make your ideas happen. This semester, we are concentrating on developing your entrepreneurial skills, so regardless of your degree background; you will have knowledge of how the business world is operated. The course is centred on the Business Model Canvas (don’t worry if you don’t know what that is- we will cover it in our sessions) and will give you loads of advice on how to get a business idea off the ground
Skill Build is both HEARable and can be used for the Sheffield Graduate Award. In order to do this, you need to attend five out of seven sessions and pass an assignment.
These sessions take place every Thursday between 6.15-7.30pm in St George’s Lecture Theatre.
