Skills Accelerator - Prospective Bidders' Event

The new Skills Accelerator incorporates Local Skills Improvement Plans and the £65 million Strategic Development Fund, which were first announced in the Skills for Jobs White Paper.

The Skills Accelerator will enable and enhance strategic partnerships between employers and post-16 providers to help shape future technical skills provision.

This event will confirm details for Local Skills Improvement Plan Trailblazers and Strategic Development Fund pilots that have been laid out in the prospectus. It will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions about the programme and the selection process.

We have limited capacity on Microsoft Teams for this online event, so ask that:

• Only those who are eligible to bid register to attend. This means FE colleges, special designated institutions or Institutes of Technology; or employer representative bodies.

• Only one person per institution or organisation attends on its behalf.

• Registered attendees do not forward the Teams event link once it has been shared.

The event will be recorded so that those who are unable to join will still be able to access all the information shared.
