About this event

As a postdoc you’ve lots of career options but working out the exact detail of your next steps can feel unclear. You’ve got lots of skills but how do you figure out which of these skills you want to use and develop in your career? What skills do employers value? Where would you like your career to take you? All of this can seem overwhelming, but you can use Prosper to make this feel more do-able.


In this session we'll guide through:

  • how to start unpacking some of the skills that you may be taking for granted,
  • the skills employers have told us matter to them,
  • how to identify what motivates you, setting your own practical next step

This session is for postdocs looking to develope in their career, whether in academia or beyond.


You will be expected to actively participate during the session, including polls, group discussion, feedback and self-reflective activities.

This session will be held online and will be led by the Prosper team.
