This Skills Bootcamp in Digital Marketing is ideal for people looking to upskill or enhance their practical skills and knowledge in Digital Marketing.

During the eleven-week Skills Bootcamp learners will study a range of subjects that will enable you to develop your career or business in Marketing or Sales, or prepare you for progression onto an Apprenticeship or further study.

Free Taster:

  • 6th January 2026, hosted at Truro and Penwith College
  • An opportunity to meet with the tutors
  • Activities to get a better understanding of the content and study requirements of the full taught programme content
  • Learn about the benefits of becoming an adult learner at Truro and Penwith College
  • Meet with trained Guidance Officers to discuss career aspirations and any additional support or accessibility requirements.
  • Full course starts 13th January 2026 and runs until 31st March 2026

What will be covered?

Across the College-based sessions, our specialist tutors will develop your knowledge and skills in a comprehensive range of topics and current platforms, including,

  • Marketing Planning
  • Content Production and Copywriting
  • An introduction to utilising AI to generate automated content
  • Facebook Advertising
  • E-mail Marketing
  • Website and Social Media Analytics
  • WordPress
  • Search Engine Optimisation.

You will also benefit from access to industry experts and local employers to assist you with your next steps for employment or professional development.

Funding:

Thanks to funding from the Department for Education, SME employers will only need to pay 10% of the course fee (£243​), whilst large organisations will be asked to contribute 30% (£728​). If you are an independent or self-employed learner looking to re-train or upskill the programme will be fully funded.
