The Skills Bootcamp in Site Readiness is a nine-week programme designed to prepare learners for work in the Construction sector by developing core skills, industry knowledge and employability skills.

As part of the Skills Bootcamp, learners will be supported to achieve the CSCS Health and Safety Test required to apply for the CSCS Labour card needed to work on site, with full financial assistance to cover the test and card application fees.

The course will give learners the confidence and practical competence needed to work safely and effectively on Construction sites, while also developing employability skills to support a successful transition into local job vacancies.

Training takes place in specialist facilities at the Truro Campus; combining classroom learning with practical, hands-on activities to reflect real workplace conditions.
