Event description

Description

On Friday 29th March 2019 the Bristol Forum is going to take place at the City Hall. This is an annual event, presenting the collaboration between Bristol City Office, University of Bristol and University of the West of England by sharing intelligence, knowledge and insights relating to the challenges facing the city as part of the One City approach.

As part of this event the Skills Bridge team invites you to join them for an evening drinks reception to thank you for engaging with Bristol’s students. Together we will celebrate and showcase the connections made between students and community partners to solve local and global challenges. This will be an exciting, interactive event giving you the chance to mingle with other community partners whilst learning about upcoming projects and new ways to connect with students.

Showcased projects will include:

  • Soil, water and air quality consultancy
  • Business consultancy
  • Greenspace student volunteers
  • Building an inclusive society
  • 12 Communities, One Bristol
  • Generation Links
  • Skills for Wildlife
  • Sounds Bristolian
  • Funding for student internships
  • Harnessing the potential of student volunteers

We are welcoming current and prospective community partners with an interest in engaging with the city’s universities and students, please feel free to share the invite with colleagues.
