Creative Schools has invited Skills Builder to run a session on their essential skills framework, which is shared by educators, employers, and skills-building organisations. The Skills Builder Universal Framework support schools to think about how children and young people build essential skills at every stage of life.
Why build essential skills?
Research shows that essential skills have a positive impact on life outcomes, including educational, employment and social and emotional outcomes.
At this session, you will have a chance
- to understand how the framework works and what are the eight essential skills
- to preview the free resources you can access straight away to start building your students' essential skills
- find out more about Skills Builder Partnership's Accelerator programme, a funded programme for 2021-22 and 2022-23
- ask questions about embedding the framework within your school
- ask questions and get guidance to apply for a funded spot
