About this Event
Turn your architectural vision into a compelling story that captivates your audience. Develop a strong, clear and engaging voice.
A crucial skill for creative people isn't just design. A large part of the architects' role is to get other people to understand and believe in your ideas.
This 2-part workshop is about an essential "non-architectural" skills that you'll need as a Future Architect - communication.
Lead by professional acting coaches Appropri8 and Fourth Monkey, these sessions will take confidence-building techniques from theatre that can be applied to any industry.
They are designed to empower you, our Future Architects, with the communication skills to inspire trust & confidence.
The skills you learn in this workshop can be applied to situations such as crits, job interviews, client pitches and critical work conversations.
Session 2: Storytelling. This will cover:
- How to distill and contextualise complex or abstract information
- Communicating your portfolio and designs
This is a 2 part series. If you didn't book session 1, you can do that here.
