BICSc skills training provides a range of units necessary for a cleaning operative to perform their role safely and efficiently.
These units cover the most common skills that cleaning operatives may use. All operatives who have completed their Licence to Practice within the last three years are then able to undertake skills training.
Upon completion candidates will receive an updated skills card and will receive the education grade CBICSc within the Institute.
To gain the CBICSc accreditation candidates will need to complete at least three units from The Cleaning Professional’s Skills Suite (CPSS 2.0) not including the mandatory units (Licence to Practice. This course will cover the following skills:
- BU6- Dust/ damp wiping of surfaces
- BU10- Glass cleaning
- AU7- Stain removal
Delivery of the skills is interactive using a mixture of presentations, exercises and discussion sessions. The course is 80% practical and builds upon the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected by the industry.
• Gives cleaning operatives the skills that they use on a daily basis
• Training and assessment of three base units
• Share best practice and discuss operational activity to promote quality delivery and consistency when
undertaking BICSc accredited training and assessment
