Skills vs Knowledge in Business Education

Skills vs Knowledge in Business Education

By Edinburgh Napier University

Overview

Join us as we explore the evolving balance between knowledge and skills within business and management degree programmes.

The Centre for Business Innovation and Sustainable Solutions (CBISS) is pleased to host an upcoming CBISS Research Forum: Skills vs Knowledge in Business Education.

With input from our leading industry guest speakers, we will explore the growing concerns of employers about graduate work readiness and the limited engagement with work-based learning. We aim to critically examine whether skills development should now take precedence over traditional knowledge input.

Join us for a lively discussion, share your thoughts, and hear from experts in the field. Don't miss out on this opportunity to engage in a thought-provoking conversation!

This event will also respond to employer feedback gathered from our prior CBISS Research forum and recent reports identifying a ‘Skills 2030’ agenda – with priority areas such as agility, systems thinking, and talent management.
