Event description
A large-scale flower sculpture installation telling the unheard story of Jersey children’s experience through the pandemic...

About this Event

We invite you to come and witness the breathtaking large scale installation made up of thousands of tiny paper flowers created by children in Jersey.

The flowers that make up this inspiring installation were created in the summer months in specially facilitated workshops in schools and community groups across Jersey, while helping young people to navigate their way through their emotional journey through COVID-19.

You can also hear specially designed audio composed by sound artist Thomas Gandey.

This spectacular sculptural piece of public art not only tells the unheard story of Jersey children’s experiences during the pandemic, but acts as a symbol of unity in our community.

The exhibition takes place from Monday 9 November until Sunday 5 December at the Maritime Museum on New North Quay, St Helier, Jersey.

Book your 45 minute slot between 10.45am and 4.45pm from Monday to Friday and between 10.45am and 5.30pm on Saturdays. Closed on Sundays.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are experiencing any COVID19 symptoms please stay home and be sure to follow the Government of Jersey guidelines.
