Oxford MBA Information Session
The Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship invites you to an information session on Monday, 28 November, about the Oxford MBA, the Skoll Scholarship and the Pershing Square Foundation Graduate Scholarship. Attendees should have an undergraduate degree and a social impact focused professional background.
Andrea Warriner, Deputy Director of the Skoll Centre and an Oxford MBA alumna, will host a discussion on social entrepreneurship and share information on the Scholarships and the Oxford MBA. Andrea will be joined by Tammy Brophy, MBA Recruitment Manager for Africa.
The Skoll Scholarship is a competitive scholarship for incoming MBA students to the University of Oxford who pursue entrepreneurial solutions for urgent social and environmental challenges. The Scholarship provides funding and exclusive opportunities to meet with world-renowned entrepreneurs, thought leaders and investors. The Skoll Scholarship provides tuition for social impact-focused individuals who have set up or have been working in entrepreneurial initiatives with a social purpose, and who wish to improve their knowledge of market-oriented practices so they can be more effective in their subsequent social change pursuits. The Scholarship is given in recognition that the MBA may represent a significant financial burden, particularly for those who have chosen to work in social ventures rather than the purely commercial or public sectors.
Pershing Square Foundation Graduate Scholarship
The Pershing Square Foundation awards up to five full scholarships to support outstanding students on the 1+1 MBA, covering both the Master's degree and the MBA year. Pershing Square Scholars are exceptional individuals who can demonstrate the potential and commitment to finding scalable and sustainable solutions to world-scale social challenges.
The Oxford MBA is a full-time one-year programme comprising an intensive series of stimulating lectures, energetic seminars and small group work, which can take students anywhere in the world. In little more than a decade, the Oxford MBA has become one of the best one-year programmes in the world. We offer a flexible, but rigorous course delivered by international scholars.
Oxford 1+1 MBA
The Oxford 1+1 MBA is a unique 2-year opportunity for talented individuals to combine a Master's degree from one of several Oxford University departments with our one-year MBA. As the global business environment becomes increasingly complex and interconnected, this powerful combination allows you to gain deep knowledge and expertise in your specialist fields, as well as developing a comprehensive understanding of business, exceptional leadership skills and practical experience.
