Frequently asked questions
Dress appropriately for the weather. The event field is grass with some walkways covered if it’s raining, we would advise waterproof, warm footwear and a warm jacket. Alternatively, if the weather is warm make sure you are wearing comfortable, breathable shoes & bring sun cream & hats.
Yes, we have a zone located at the Castle Fraser cafe area for parents to change their babies.
The majority of stall holders have card machines, so will accept card payments. The bar and merchandise stall will also accept card payments. Please note there are no cash machines on site.
No vehicles are permitted on the site overnight. If you wish to have a drink, you can use the shuttle buses but no one-way tickets are available.
We have parking on site available in the John Bell field attended by the Alford & District Rotary Club. Parking can be pre booked and paid for online at a charge of £2 per car. Disabled parking is required to be pre booked, please contact us for full details.
Please queue at the entrance to have your ticket scanned and receive your wristband.
Unfortunately, we cannot permit dogs into the events field, except for assistance dogs. Dogs are permitted within the grounds of Castle Fraser on leads.
Alcohol will be available to purchase at the event. Please DO NOT bring alcohol with you, bags will be searched at the gate. You may bring soft drinks in plastic bottles/cartons.

Your wristband will entitle you to a 50% discount for a tour to the castle - tickets can be purchased at the castle entrance.
Hot/cold street food & drinks are available to purchase at the event. We cannot permit BBQs, you are welcome to bring snacks and soft drinks.
Yes, please bring your own camping chairs, there will be restrictions for seating in certain areas for safety.
The car park will be open from 10.30am and stewards will direct you to the car park area.
