What should I wear?

Dress appropriately for the weather. The event field is grass with some walkways covered if it’s raining, we would advise waterproof, warm footwear and a warm jacket. Alternatively, if the weather is warm make sure you are wearing comfortable, breathable shoes & bring sun cream & hats.

Are there baby changing areas?

Yes, we have a baby changing/feeding gazebo on the Events Field  & you can also use the Castle Fraser toilets for baby changing.

Do you accept card payments?

Accepted Answer

The majority of stall holders have card machines, so will accept card payments. The bar and merchandise stall will also accept card payments. Please note there are no cash machines on site.

Can I leave my car overnight?

No vehicles are permitted on the site overnight. If you wish to have a drink, you can use the shuttle buses but no one-way tickets are available.

Is there parking available?

We have parking on site available in the John Bell field attended by the Alford & District Rotary Club. Parking can be pre booked and paid for online at a charge of £2 per car. Disabled parking is required to be pre booked, please contact us for full details.

How do I get my wristband?

Please queue at the entrance to have your ticket scanned and receive your wristband.

Are dogs welcome?

Unfortunately, we cannot permit dogs into the events field, except for assistance dogs.  Dogs are permitted within the grounds of Castle Fraser on leads.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Alcohol will be available to purchase at the event.  Please DO NOT bring alcohol with you, bags will be searched at the gate.  You may bring soft drinks in plastic bottles/cartons.

Can I tour Castle Fraser with my event wristband?

Your wristband will entitle you to a 50% discount for a tour to the castle - tickets can be purchased at the castle entrance.

Can I bring my own food to the event?

Hot/cold street food & drinks are available to purchase at the event.  We cannot permit BBQs.  You are welcome to bring snacks and soft drinks.

Can I bring my own chair(s)?

Yes, please bring your own camping chairs or picnic blankets, there will be restrictions for seating in certain areas for safety.

What time can I access the grounds to park?

The car park will be open from 10.30am and stewards will direct you to the car park area.

Mr & Mrs Bubbles, inflatable fun, kids crafts, face painting, toys, sweet stalls & more!

Can anyone take part in the sausage eating competition?

Yes, but over 16 only & tickets to take part must be purchased before the event - limited availability.  Amazing prizes to be won!

Can I get blue light discount?

Only tickets purchased direct will be eligible for blue light discount.  Proof must be provided to obtain 10% discount per ticket.  Please email the office yourvibe2010@gmail.com

Can I get a free ticket for my carer/companion?

We will be happy to provide a complimentary ticket for your carer/companion with proof provided.  Tickets must be purchased direct - please email the office yourvibe2010@gmail.com   Only 1 complimentary ticket per 1 full paying adult.

I have teenagers - do they pay the full price?

13-17 year olds have a slightly discounted price.  Specific ID wristbands will be provided for 13-17 year olds.

Do I  need a ticket for my 0-4 year old?

Yes, all attendees must have a ticket for safety purposes.  Please purchase a free ticket - these will be checked at the gate.

Can I get a refund if I am no longer available to attend?

Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for this event.
