What it's for
If you are looking to get into tech, Sky Coding Club is here to help you meet real professionals in the industry. Bring along your questions about coding or a career in tech and we'll do what we can to help.
We are a group of volunteer developers (as well as designers) from Sky who want to help bridge the gap from learning alone online to having your first coding or tech job.
What to expect
When you arrive, we’ll have a quick intro, then we’ll either pair you up with a developer or designer who matches your questions or skillset, or we’ll chat together in the main room. It’s a relaxed and informal space – whether you’ve got specific questions or just want to listen in and learn, you’re welcome.
If you’ve told us what you need help with when signing up, we’ll do our best to match you with someone who can support you 1:1 or in a small group. Otherwise, feel free to join the main discussion and ask questions as they come up!
Who it's for
Sky Coding Club is for programmers of any level who may require a little one-on-one or small group support. We ask that you give us some brief details on what you're wanting help with so we can pair you with a developer ready and able to help.
We are especially aiming to reach out to women and non-binary folks, but men are welcome too!
Please share this event with anyone who you think might be interested - word of mouth is our best way of reaching potential new coders.
