Health Based Places of Safety are a key feature of London’s crisis care pathway.

Caseloads are a mirror of London life and staff education is a key to high quality service provision. We know that the number of rough sleepers in London has more than doubled in the last 10 years and that for every person sleeping rough, there are estimated to be 13x more ‘hidden homeless’ who are sofa surfing, living in cars or in other precarious circumstances.

HEE London have put together an educational morning focussing on improving knowledge and confidence in managing common elements of crisis presentation.

This event will be relevant to all professionals working in crisis settings and anyone from a medical, nursing, social work, police or ambulance background is welcome to attend.
