Event description

Description

Many individuals on the autism spectrum have difficulties regulating their sleep patterns. Some individuals find it difficult to get over to sleep, sleep without a parent beside them, or may get up many times throughout the night impacting on their behaviour the next day. This workshop will give practical strategies for many of the common sleep problems that parents/carers can attempt in their own home.

The Empower project is a Big Lottery funded initiative through the Reaching Out Supporting Families Programme which support Families across Mid Ulster and Antrim & Newtownabbey Council areas. The focus of the project is to support children under 12 with Autism, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia, their parents and the wider family circle to enhance confidence and learn together to develop skills to support their children.
