Join us for a slow afternoon of roaming, reflection and collective connection in a beautiful, rural garden.
Artist and poet Liv Mabey will guide you through a series of gentle creative exercises, with gratitude for the richness of natural resources in the season of harvest.
Explore inks, dyes and pigments, gathering words and sharing communal, creative responses to the surrounding environment of The Old Rectory Gardens, Thruxton.
Please note:
- If the weather is good we will be outdoors (seating and table provided) and if it turns, we will use the barn. Please dress for changeable September weather.
- The ground at the Old Rectory is even with grassy paths. To get the most our of this experience, please wear comfortable outdoors shoes.
- Directions to The Old Rectory: A465 to Allensmore. At Shell petrol station take B4348 towards Hay-on-Wye. After 1.5miles turn left towards Abbey Dore and Cockyard. Turn left opposite the church and follow the track to the car park (signposted at the entrance).
