Slow Food Edinburgh and the Slow Food Youth Network Scotland are delighted to celebrate Terra Madre Day with our upcoming Terra Madre Tales evening on Wednesday 7th December at Ostara Cafe, Leith.
We'll be hearing from some of Scotland's delegates to 2016's Terra Madre gathering in Turin who'll be sharing their stories and experience with us. In celebration of Slow Food's current Love the Earth Defend the Future campaign we'll be enjoying a delicious selection of artisan cheeses from Scotland and beyond, together with a taste of Scottish charcuterie, kindly provided by Scottish delegate Rachel Hammond of Hammond Charcuterie.
We'll also be joined by Scottish cheese expert and Ark of Taste Coordinator Wendy Barrie to tell us a bit more about the work of the artisan cheesemaker. Tickets are £15 plus booking fee and all proceeds from the night will be donated to support Errington Cheese.
Join us for a cosy, intimate evening of storytelling over cheese, wine and candlelight.
Cheeseboard of artisan cheeses, bread, oatcakes, fruit and chutney
