Slow Ways Zoom Briefing
Event Information
About this Event
During the spring lockdown 700 volunteers drafted a national network of over 7,000 Slow Ways walking routes.
Using existing footpaths, people will be able to use the #SlowWays to walk between neighbouring settlements or combine routes for long distance journeys.
While the first Slow Ways routes have been plotted on maps, we now need to check, review and verify them. With over 100,000km to walk, we're putting out a call for 10,000 people from across Great Britain to get involved.
Up for helping us by walking a Slow Way or ten in 2021?
Join us for this briefing on Zoom to:
- See a short presentation on Slow Ways
- Hear from Dan Raven-Ellison who started the initiative
- Find out how you can get involved
- Ask questions
