We are delighted to invite you to the first of our biannual small business briefing events. These themed events are being delivered collaboratively between the Development Bank of Wales, Economic Intelligence Wales, the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) Wales and hosted by Paul Davies MS.

The theme of the first event is ‘Demystifying Productivity’. There is no doubt that productivity is a very important topic and has been a key focus for politicians for many years given the substantial benefits of productivity growth in enhancing our standard of living. Previous research has identified how important productivity growth is in Wales, with the Welsh economy having a sizeable productivity gap with the rest of the UK.

Join us to improve understanding of what it means to be productive and to explore the role of policy makers and business leaders in increasing productivity in Welsh businesses. At this event you’ll hear from leading experts on this subject from the Development Bank of Wales and Economic Intelligence Wales. In addition a member of the small business community will talk about their experiences and FSB will provide an update on their latest data. There will also be a Q+A and an opportunity to share your views directly with Members of the Senedd. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

This event is by invite only. Please register as soon as possible to secure your place as spaces are limited for this event. Registrations for this event will close 5pm, 5 November 2024.
