We're heading to one of Europe's major research libraries, National Library of Scotland which has around 24 million items in its collections. This includes the largest business collection of its kind in Scotland so it seems only right to host our small business meet-up there for networking and entrepreneurial inspiration!We’ll also be joined by one of the mot renowned entrepreneurs in Scotland, Jim Duffy.Jim is one of the most renowned entrepreneurs in Scotland. He started and scaled Entrepreneurial Spark from a Glasgow base in 2011 to the world’s largest free business accelerator with hatcheries in key cities from Birmingham to Brighton, as well as expansion into India. Entrepreneurial Spark has supported hundreds of entrepreneurs to take their idea and turn it into business reality through the development of entrepreneurial mindset and behaviours.Along the way, Jim secured the backing of big brands including Natwest, KPMG and Dell, and secured an MBE for his services to enterprise. In 2016 Jim announced he was leaving Entrepreneurial Spark to pursue other opportunities. This has included writing his first book, Create Special, about which Jim will be answering questions in a session that will also include the story of building Entrepreneurial Spark and his advice for budding and growing entrepreneurs.Jim will be interviewed by Enterprise Nation founder, Emma Jones.
