Hotel Elephant is launching its first small commissioning program for recent graduates. This forms part of Hotel Elephant’s Creative Enterprise program for 2016/17, which has been funded through Southwark Councils Arts and Culture Grant scheme.
This program will commission 6 new pieces of artwork from emerging artists who have graduated in last 3 years. The aim of this program is to enable these artist/s to further their current practice through the production of a new piece of work.
The artwork will be exhibited at Hotel Elephant’s new Spare Street gallery & mixed use public space.
On Monday 5th December, Emily Woodhouse Director and Curator at Hotel Elephant will be hosting an introduction to the small commissioning program at Spare Street. Emily will run through the program, show people the space’s available for proposed works, along with being available to answer any questions you may have about the program.
