These two hour Small Steps Hoarding Awareness Training can:-
- Explain the causes:
- Help professionals gain understanding of the different types of Hoarding Disorder
- Improve professionals' confidence when working with such clients;
- Provide effective ideas so they can encourage clients to start de-cluttering
PLEASE NOTE- AS SPACE IS LIMITED TO A MAXIMUM OF 15 ATTENDEES PER SESSION.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This training is aimed at professionals over 18. It is not designed for service users themselves.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is no parking at the venue, the nearest car park is near St Peters Church in Carmarthen or the other council car parks

What's the refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to someone else
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
If possible but don't worry if it is mislaid as I shall have the booking list

I am a fully qualified counsellor and a Registered Member of The British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I hope an enhanced DBS check. have worked in mental health for over ten years, first as an advocate for parents with learning disabilities and later as the Deputy Manager of Eiriol Mental Health Advocacy Charity. During this time I liaised with Carmarthenshire Hoarding Network to improve access to mental health support services including counselling. I also worked as the Hoarding Project Co-Ordinator at Swansea Mind. I gained my Counselling Diploma with the Adlerian Society of Wales in Narberth and worked as a bereavement counsellor for Hywel Dda NHS Trust, Carmarthenshire Counselling Service and Swansea Mind before setting up my own business. Besides counselling I also offer mental health training for professionals.
