Description

Rough Sleeping: Small Talk, Big Difference

Date: 23rd January 2018

Time: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Venue: The OPEN

Our Vision

“To ensure that nobody has to sleep rough on the streets of Norwich”

"Small Talk, Big Difference" is an interactive event intended to raise awareness of rough sleeping in Norwich, and consider options and solutions for those on the streets. The initiative seeks to raise awareness by encouraging important conversations focused on rough sleeping, homelessness and street begging within the local area.

The event seeks to:

  • Maximise community commitment to ending rough sleeping
  • Have everyone work in the open – working collaboratively when beneficial
  • Engage the key players involved in Norwich, including businesses, Universities, agencies, grassroot organisations and charities
  • Get everyone working together to find solutions to important issues and concerns

We would like to invite you to attend this one-day event aimed at developing a strategy and action plan we can all contribute to in order to tackle rough sleeping in Norwich.

The day will consist of:

  • Guest speakers from national organisations
  • Interactive discussion and debate sessions
  • Networking opportunities for all in attendance
  • Conversation with individuals who have lived experience

Any questions or queries, please contact Aidan Lewis on 01603 727930 or projects@norwichbid.co.uk

We look forward to seeing you in the New Year!
