Smart City and Robotics Competition

Welcome to the Smart City Robotics Competition the flagship event of MK Tech Week

Come and see teams of expert roboticists tackle five episodes, each presenting a unique challenge for the participating robots, in a real physical environment.

The episodes will be judged on qualities such as accuracy, damage, completeness, human interaction and time.

This event will take place at Middleton Hall, Centre:mk and will be accompanied by a technology and careers exhibition.

Visit the Smart City Experience Centre and book your trip on the self-driving shuttle, running from Hotel La Tour, around centre:mk and to the railway station.

Sponsors include Beckhoff Automation, Milton Keynes City Council, Smart City Consultancy, ARIA (Research Agency) and Compsoft (UK).

Wednesday will be STEM day with presentations by Beverly Clarke MBE.
