This event is a follow-up to the Engagement and networking event, organised by Snook in May 2016 on behalf of the Future Cities Catapult, to explore the opportunities presented by the University of Glasgow’s Smart Campus.
The aim of the event is to gather people and businesses interested in Smart Cities, from corporates to SME's focusing on developing a service or product, all the way to innovators with an idea and organisations looking for answers to a specific need.
Be part of a strong influence and knowledge-exchange network around the topic of Smart Cities. Nurture connections and continue the exploration of Smart Cities for the future of Glasgow and beyond.
This event is the first of a series that will be focused on relevant topics within the Smart City theme.
The event will culminate with an hour-long session on future exploration lead by Mike Ryan, Manchester's first futurist & founder Fusion Futures. Participants will engage in both individual and group activities, delving into possible future scenarios, to create a joined-up picture of how the urban landscape might look like in 2040/2050.
There will be plenty of space for networking both before and after the talks/workshop. Participants are welcome to extend their stay between 18.00 and 19.00.
