What do I need to bring?

Swim gear, towel/dry robe, extra towel for sauna, beach shoes are a good idea as it is a pebble beach.

Do I need to have swam in cold water before?

No this event is for anyone to try at your own risk, just be sensible and understand your own limitations. It is your responsibility.
